The place where I spend most of my time, a space to create, to make mistakes and to draw inspiration from. My studio is still a work in progress along with my creative journey. My desk, which was made by my partner Chris was born out of old pallets, scaffold boards and the bough of a tree found in the local woods. I love to surround myself with natural materials so Chris also made me a lamp out of a branch from the garden then fixed it into concrete whilst embedding a stone we found on a memorable walk along the coast.
The studio is filled with plants so I can feel connected to nature which is where I draw upon a lot of my inspiration and whilst I'm painting I can look out onto our chickens in the garden. It truly is a wonderful space to work from.
